PROFESSIONAL STAFF
The staff of Southwest Center Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation (SCPTR) is made up of a
multi-disciplinary team that has worked together for over 10 years.  This continuity enables the staff to
provide the highest quality of care and consistent customer service, and maintain long- standing
professional and efficiency standards.  The staff members are:

James C. Brady, M.S., P.T. - Director / Physical Therapist

Mr. Brady is a native of Dallas and has been practicing as a licensed Physical Therapist since 1987.  
After graduating from Texas A&M University with a degree in Health Education, he earned a master's
degree in physical therapy from Texas Woman's University.  He began practicing as a staff therapist at
Presbyterian Hospital, then on the staff of a few outpatient clinics in the area.  He began his private
practice in 1991 by founding
Physical Ergonomics Rehabilitation Center in Oak Cliff, and served as the
Director there until merging his practice with
Matrix Rehabilitation in 1997, later assuming the position of
Clinical Operations Manager for the company, supervising six clinics in Dallas, Garland, Duncanville and
Midlothian.

After Matrix Rehabilitation was acquired by another company in 2003, Mr. Brady returned to private
practice, establishing
Southwest Center Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation  (SCPTR) near Southwest
Center Mall, formerly known as Redbird Mall, in order to provide accessibility for patients in all of
southern Dallas and northern Ellis counties.

Mr. Brady is the Director and primary clinician at
SCPTR, specializing in orthopedics, including sports and
industrial rehabilitation.  He is frequently consulted as an expert witness in legal cases involving the
profession, and has been a presenter at numerous conferences for therapists, case managers and
physicians.

D. Brian Langdon, M.S., C.S.C.S., P.T. - Physical Therapist

Mr. Langdon achieved a Master of Science in Exercise Physiology in 1998 and his Physical Therapy
degree in 2000, both from the University of Oklahoma.  He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning
Specialist (CSCS), a Golf Conditioning Specialist, and has experience as a strength and conditioning
coach with the OU men's golf team as well as extensive clinical work with high school, college and
professional athletes.  To further his professional expertise he is currently working towards his Sport
Certified Specialist (SCS) certification with the American Physical Therapy Association.

Kerry A. Wells, B.S. - Clinic Coordinator / Exercise Physiologist

Mr. Wells is a native of southern Oklahoma.  He attended Oklahoma State University and obtained his
bachelor's degree in Health Sciences in 1987.  He lived in north Fort Worth during the fall of 1987 and
completed his internship before graduation in December at the
Fitness Institute which was part of the
North East Community Hospital.  He moved to Dallas in September of 1988 and began work as an
Exercise Physiologist at a physical therapy clinic east of downtown for three and one half years.

Mr. Wells met Mr. Brady at a conference in Dallas in the fall of 1991.  In March of 1992, he left his first
position and joined Mr. Brady at
Physical Ergonomics Rehabilitation Center.  From 1992 through 2001,
he worked as the coordinator of the Industrial Rehabilitation programs along with daily physical therapy
patient schedule.  In the fall of 2001, he began assisting Mr. Brady, who was by then the Clinical
Operations Manager for
Matrix Rehabilitation, coordinating clinic coverage of non-licensed staff at six
different clinics until February of 2003.

Mr. Wells joined the staff of
Southwest Center Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation at inception in 2003
as Clinic Coordinator / Exercise Physiologist.  He has 17 years experience in instructing exercise
programs, which includes: clinical / therapeutic programs, sports training, personal fitness, and cardiac
rehabilitation.

Deborah Fagan-McHenry - Office Coordinator

Mrs. Fagan-McHenry is a native of Texas City and graduated from Galveston College in 1979 with an
AAS in Community Health Work.  She began her career as a claims examiner for
Reserve Life Insurance
Company
, working with them for over 10 years before joining a local medical office, working for three
years as the Insurance Supervisor.  She joined the staff at
Physical Ergonomics in 1995 as the Office
Coordinator, and remained in that position through the Matrix merger and subsequent acquisition.  She
joined the other staff members during the move to
SCPTR, and has remained the Office Coordinator
since inception, supervising all front office management and customer services functions.

Joyce Kay Hamilton, M.L.A., L.P.C. - Psychotherapist

Ms. Hamilton is a long-time Dallas resident and earned her degree from SMU.  She is a licensed
Professional Counselor specializing in psychosocial support for medical patients, and has been
associated with the staff of
SCPTR since inception, and prior to inception for more than 13 years with
Physical Ergonomics.  Education, counseling and group sessions are utilized to assist industrial
rehabilitation and chronic pain patients in coping with depression, anxiety and other psychological factors
affecting the rehabilitation process.

Leslie Fuhrmann, O.T.R. - Occupational Therapist

Ms. Fuhrmann is a Registered Occupational Therapist and native of the D/FW area.  She received her
bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from Texas Woman's University, and has been associated
with the other professionals of
SCPTR since the start of her career.  Ms. Fuhrmann specializes in hand
and upper extremity rehabilitation as well as industrial rehabilitation, and serves as a team member of the
work hardening and work conditioning programs.

Ninfa Araiza, M.S.W. - Social Worker

Ms. Araiza is originally from Poteet, Texas, just outside of San Antonio.  She attended Lady of the Lake
University, earning both her undergraduate and Master's degrees in Social Work.  She began her career
with the
Texas Department of Human Services, developing skills and knowledge of various resources
available to persons in need.  She subsequently began working in the field of psychiatric social work,
eventually becoming the Director of Outpatient Services for
Charter Hospital of Dallas in 1989.  
Presently, she divides her time between hospice care with a hospice organization and consulting work
with
SCPTR to assist industrial rehab clients and Medicare patients in locating and accessing available
community resources.  She also interacts with employers of industrial rehab clients in acquiring job
descriptions and coordinating return to work processes.  Ninfa is fluent in English and Spanish, and
effectively communicates with patients, rehabilitation nurses, employers and referring physicians.
